What is the food or place in Vegas that you crave the most when you're not there?
Milos, Settebello, Pho Kim Long
You know, I love eating while in Vegas, but there's not a single place that I truly crave when I am not there. Lots of places I like and repeat (maybe once upon a time I craved Seablue), but no place that gets me truly excited
I would say the one I look forward to the most is the oysters at PJ Clarke's. I can get good steak here in Indiana, along with Mexican, Italian, or other favorites. But I have yet to find oysters that good in any of our corn fields.
The Steakhouse at Circus Circus.
Same here. There are so many places to eat in LV and you barely scratch the surface.
One thing I avoid in Las Vegas are the ubiquitous chains. When I'm in Las Vegas, I want something VEGAS, not something I can get anywhere!
I've become a huge fan of Culinary Drop-Out at the Hard Rock and specifically their home-made soft pretzel nuggets dipped in a fondue that makes you wanna lick the serving dish! Sitting on their patio adjacent to the "world-famous" pool complex, enjoying a Jack & Coke and those pretzels is a pretty damn good time!
Exactly. I was staying at Harrah's a few years ago, and one friend suggested we go next door to Denny's. I gave a big "hell no" to that one. I live right down the road from Denny's, I'm good for a moons over my hammy about once a month. No reason to get that in Vegas, too.
Joel Robuchon mashed potatoes.
in'n'out - it is exotic to me!
Bob Taylor's Ranch house.
Not cheap, but cheezy. Always enjoyed watching them cook the beef over the open mesquite grill. And it was always good!
I wish there was a like.
x2. I think their dressing has crack in it. Luckily I have one down the street from me
Hot n sour soup and Seafood Pho two other things I crave regularly.
Prime steakouse's Japanese waygu, Mimo Ferraros (Italian), and of course, in n out
We've been tempted to try this. Is it really that good?
If it's the place I'm thinking of I believe it's way out in the toolies.
Crab cakes from Vic & Anthony's !!
Drunken Noodles from Wazuzu at Encore.
Exactly what I mean by ALWAYS learning something here... I've never heard of this place and will definitely try it out. I have some friends moving down to that area from Alaska. I'll take 'em there!
BBQ sticky buns and fatty beef udon noodles for breakfast at the mansion.
