A good article about the value of Strip property... http://www.vegasinc.com/news/2013/sep/02/rise-and-fall-land-strip/?__utma=1.898024742.1378137565.1378137565.1378137565.1&__utmb=1.2.10.1378137565&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1378137565.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none)&__utmv=-&__utmk=22810555
I read that article in the paper and was disappointed. Frankly, nothing substantive to the issue was added justifying yet another article about it. What happened on The Strip is no longer news. That dead horse has been flogged into hamburger. Bill
The article is also a bit misleading. You can't throw out $/acre numbers on properties where the casino was bought to continue operations (Tropicana, Quad, etc.). It's not the same as the New Frontier being bought and scraped to build something new.
Good article....basically a summary of stuff that we already know...but there some things I did not know and it was easy to read. Sometimes business articles are deadly and you have to quit half way through from sheer boredom.
