    Greetings all!

Apologies in advance if this is not the correct forum (I am a newbie to the board). Headed out later this month for my 10th stay downtown. I have grown an affinity for craft beer in the last year or so and haven't really thought of Vegas as home to that (but am finding out that this is not the case). I know MSS has 777 and Banger has their stuff (both of which are tasty).

Two questions though. I have never been a big MSS gambler (the Plaza has been my home)............(although that may change as the VP seems decent). Do they serve 777 brews at the tables and VP/slots?

Second...what other craft brews have you found (and where) downtown gambling (that are comped)?

    Cheers1!

MSS serves their craft beers throughout the casino. You can also buy it at the bar for $1.75 a pint. If you prefer you can play VP at the bar, which has 9/6 JOB, and drink for free.

Chicago Brewing in the 4Q's. Great beers and nice pizza pie. Decent micros with good progressives on the bar tops.

MSS's 777 has a couple micros not offered on the floor. Last trip it was a fantastic double IPA that was as good as any I have ever tasted.

I have heard that one of the bars in the Golden Nuggett has an impressive micro offering. Their regular bartops have poor pay tables...so I can only
imagine the pay tables at that bar.

The Plaza has the Bier Garten with about 15 taps with a decent offering. I'm not a big Plaza fan and the bar and outside garten really don't do it for me.

If you like IPA's I have been told El Cortez has my DH's favorite beer. It is Total Domination IPA by Ninkasi Brewery out of Eugene, OR.

Unimik, some options downtown for better than average beer are The Griffin, Atomic Liquors and Park (all East Fremont). You might pop into Commonwealth to see what is on tap. Griffin's choices are always pretty good and it is a great place to sit and have a beer. Atomic had a couple of Teneya Creek choices on tap, last time I was there. Park has multiple choices but served them in silly jars. Not updated often but I do like this blog/site. It will provide addresses for all: http://www.fremontstreetbars.com/

I've always been able to get 3 of the MSS craft-beers at their blackjack tables.

I always try to work in a stop at the 777 for beer and food. To me the 777 is worth a trip downtown just in itself.

I have been to the Banger Brewing Co, in the Neonopolis. Very good beers, but no food and I think it is only open in the evenings. If they still don't have food, you might be able to bring in your own. The tasting rooms here in VA that don't have food allow you to bring in uour own.

Most of their beers were $6 or $7 for a pint.

I also really enjoy the Hardaway IPA at the 4Q and the Marker Pake Ale at MSS. Beers are $1.75 at the casino bar at MSS! Even if you're not playing

I like MSS beer > 4 Qs but I've also been to MSS more times. I tried Banger Brewing in April and was very impressed.

MSS serves their; High Roller, Black Chip Porter, Hefe Weisen and Pale Ale at the tables and machines 100% of the time. If you get to know your CT waitress (Shelley is the best BTW!) you can usually get them to make a longer walk to get you the "seasonal" brews but they aren't usually on tap at the Boars Head which is the service bar for the table games.

Love, love, love their beers. I usually just have the CTW work "The Sconnie Cycle" and bring me a different beer each time she swings through. CT service is good, but not always super frequent/fast when its busy so the pace isn't usually too bad. But after a couple "trips 'round the cycle" is usually start throwing a water into the mix occasionally. But one time I don't think that I did put the waters into the mix with great results, maybe I should do that more often? http://goo.gl/0sjQnN

777 has great food and 100% of their available brews too. Love me some sushi from there.....

I have been able to get any 777 beer I have wanted at the tables at MSS. One CW had me timed perfectly at the craps table where I would be on my last sip as she brought another (without me having to ask).

Also, check out Pizza Rock across the street from the Downtown Grand. Besides plenty of very good pizza's, they have a large selection of craft beers on tap. So far, this is the only place I have been able to get my Arrogant Bastard fix.
