I have a regular Augustus tower room booked and I got an email offer for an upgrade to a "Petite Suite" for $14/night.

Anyone stay in this room or think it is worth it? The only difference I could tell was the bathroom that had a strange shower lol. I'm pretty sure it is in the palace tower too.

Yeah, I been there. I love that room! It is ridicously huge. It has a Jack and Jill bath that is connected by a double shower. It is in the Palace Tower. I love that most of those rooms have great pool views. It's well worth the upgrade cost.

Yes I've stayed in one as well a couple,of times. It's a really good room w some nice extra space to spread out a little. Its a dual shower so 2 people can shower at the same time. If you're spending a lot of time going to the pool, the palace tower is the best with the elevators right there at the pool entrance. I've been lucky enough to have it compd before, I'm not sure I'd pay to do the upgrade. $14 bucks a night sure isn't much though, but if you're looking for more space and don't need a 2nd bed, then yea I think it's worth it to upgrade.(I think I just contradicted my self!) the walk from Augustus to the casino floor and strip is so much easier. Not sure if that's a big deal to you...have a great trip!
