American Coupon Guide and Las Vegas Advisor both had coupons for food, drinks, and gambling. Haven't been to EI before but will go on this trip for sure. Probably more than once as you have to wait for free play to hit your account.

I read that your players card gets $2 off BBQ
    and
your food receipt can be used for match play.

Does the players card deal stack with the ACG?
Can anyone confirm the match play deal?

The two coupons I like best are the American Casino Guide coupon, good for 4 free drinks at the center bar, and the 50% off entre coupon (or 2 for 1) which cuts the price of the prime rib down substantially.
You can't use the 4 drink coupon in the restaurant, but you can go up and get the four drinks and carry them back to your table.
Remember that there is the popular 24 hour steak special, a good bargain especially if you like garlic green beans. Just ask the waiter for the steak special. It costs about $8 and includes a nice tall glass of microbrew or homemade rootbeer.
The freeplay is complicated and you do have to be playing there a long while or come back a second time.
There used to be free bingo on weekdays, but now it is only free for locals. For tourists it requires $20 of play to qualify. It is in the mornings. Nine I think. No sharing of markers, but if you don't bring one, they will sell one for a $1. Prizes are in general $50 or less.

I just got back from EI and used the $10 ACG matchplay.

Here is what you have to do.

If you don't have a players card then sign up and get one. Insert the players card into a slot while you are playing. Play through at least $10.

Then take your ACG $10 slot play coupon to the players desk to redeem it. In 24 hours they will credit $10 in promo slot play to your card.

To make a slight correction to the previous post, the previous poster was talking about free slot play not match play.

When you sign up for your Ellis Island players club card, you will get $10 in free slot play for signing up. There is also an ACG coupon that gives you an additional $10 in free slot play after you play $10 of your own $$$$. (Essentially $30 in slot play for $10). The bonus $10 is put on your card after 24 hours, so plan a 2nd stop for it.

They also have an ACG coupon for 2 for 1 menu items (the steak special does NOT count for this) and 4 free drinks (good micro-brew beers and home made root beer).

If you text ELLIS to 56242, they will reply back with a text with a code for a $5 table game match play coupon. Also, when I was in Vegas in January, they had different match plays based on your receipt for your food bill. I believe mine came out to $15, so I got a $5 match play. If you spend more on dinner, the matchplay was more. Not sure if they are still doing this or not.
