Could I be secretly on the MSS blacklist?

Stayed at the MSS once for 11 nights back in 2007.
Yeah I know, long stretch. This was during March Madness and I wanted to be in Vegas for the first 2 weekends. played a ton of Blackjack there as well as VP. We go once a year and although I stay and play at the Fremont. The bulk of my play is at the MSS.
Back to 2007. I gave a pit boss a lot of shit. He was huge, I was drinking (daily of course), I made a nickname up for him. All the players loved it, he didn't. Like I said he was huge and it looked like the hanger was still in his coat. I started calling him lurch.
The dealer was new, seemed like he was new to math also. Dealer had a jack and a 5, took a hit and nailed a 3, took another hit and nailed a 4, gets better, took another hit and flipped another jack. So he's got 32. Pays everybody off and then realized what he did. Calls over the big pit boss. Pit boss says pay the money back to the house. I said "no way Lurch", I didn't and the other players started chanting "no way Lurch". He was pissed.
Anyway I am Sapphire at the Fremont, get free nights and food, but like I said I have more table game hours and coin in at MSS. Julie (the wife) plays a modest amount in quarters at MSS and is getting flyers for 2 nights. Me, not a sniff.
I wonder if my name was X ed off of the preferred players list for what I said?
Next time out there we are switching cards.

Couldn't quite make out when you started calling him "Lurch". Was it because he was a jerk when he asked you guys to pay the money back?

Or were you calling him "Lurch" even though he didn't do anything to warrant this name-calling.

If the case is the latter, although I feel we are all a drop in the bucket in the ocean of gamblers in this case it's quite possible. Maybe the analogy of "Don't bite the hand that feeds you" is appropriate here.:poke:

I doubt you're blacklisted. If you want to stay there instead of the Fremont, just give MSS a call and see what they can do for you.

I'm sure for table games at MSS, you're fucked...then again, they don't bend over backwards for table players there...
Switch to JUST video poker at MSS, and you'll start getting offers again.

You mentioned you were getting offers from Fremont...it's most likely set as your HOME CASINO (Downtown play all counts as ONE and you only get offers from your HOME casino)
I'd switch it over to MSS (only if you want) and see what happens...

Believe me... I have pissed off the Pit many many times over the years... the offers have never stopped. :cuss:

But as others have said, I play a lot of VP and have MSS as my "home" casino for offers.

But then again, I never call anyone names... well at least not so they can hear me! :ssst:

Yeah, but those irresistable offers you've been getting to stay and play at the D?

Main Street has been sending them.
