Wife and I will be returning to LV after a bit of a break after having our first baby... it's been about a year for me but it's been more like three years for her. We used to go 2-3 times per year, so you can see this was a big break for us :)

We haven't stayed at the Cosmo yet, but she always wanted to pre-baby, so I booked it without telling her. Always pushed for MLife property in the past... eh, we can walk over to Aria without much trouble if I need the MLife fix. So I booked a Terrace Studio Fountain View, seemed like a great room with the view and balcony.

I see Cosmo has 2 towers - East and West - wondered if this room is in both towers or just one? If it's in both, which one has the better view? Any reason to prefer one tower over the other, in general, besides the view of the fountains?

    Thanks!

Both towers have a view of the fountains, but to have THE view, then east tower.

edit: BTW, congrats on the new baby.

Both are good. If you can get a comp room upgrade with it, take ot in either tower.

If you've booked fountain view, east tower is the one to get. I like the east because it's smaller and closer to the strip.

West tower has pretty darn awesome views. This is from room 3303, a One Bedroom Terrace Suite.

You won't be disappointed by the view in either tower, the east is a little closer to the fountains but i prefer the west overall view. East tower gives you direct access to the strip while the west tower is usually more quiet.

I would always recommend East tower simply because it dumps you out steps away from the Strip, steps away from both Bond bar and the Chandalier, plus you can stop off at level 4 for the Boulevard pool, level 3 for dining/pizza, level 2 for sportsbook/walkway to Planet Hollywood/Aria. In my opinion, a no brainer unless you NEED to be closer to the valet, the buffet, or the Bamboo pool.

Now it all depends on your room type you book as well. Since you are with wife - I doubt you have a room with 2 beds but the East tower does not have any of the room types with 2 beds, those are all in West. Same with the Terrace Suites, all West. The East has Terrace Studios, Terrace 1BR, and Wraparound.

Another plus to the East tower is very short walks to your room from the elevator. No long winding hallway like the West.

Request something above floor 39 - the elevators are MUCH faster

I like east cause I like boulevard pool better... closer walk to quick eats like secret pizza and in middle of casino.

But in terms of view... meh west further from fountains but angled more towards strip. Slight very flight nod to west for view..but east better for fountains.

    Cannot go wrong with either

Have to agree with everyone else... I prefer the East Tower due to its proximity to the strip and ease of access, good luck!!
