    All,
The girlfriend and I will be staying at Cosmopolitan (man, is Cosmopolitan awkward to type) for two nights. I see that their pool complex has three individual swimming pools, Boulevard, Bamboo and Marquee. Since Marquee is a branded dayclub/pool is there a cover for Cosmopolitan guests to go there? How are the other two pools at the property as well? Thanks.

    Derek

Your room key will get you and a guest into Marquee on Friday and Sunday. Saturday is usually a no go, especially if they have a major DJ act booked.

Oh okay. We'll be there on a Wednesday and Thursday, so I'm not worried then. Do they have "events" during the week? Is Marquee run like a regular day-time pool or is it closed when there's not a big DJ in?

Once summer kicks into full gear MDC is open 7 days a week, but there is only a DJ there Fri-Sun. I think it's actually topless friendly Mon-Thur, but you may want to confirm that.

Not sure that's correct. Or at least last summer, when I had a wraparound overlooking Marquee, I didn't see any nakedness. Maybe nobody chose that option ....

As of two summers ago it was allowed during the week, but it varied on how often women took advantage of it. Same with Tao Beach. But I haven't been to either since then, so I don't know if it's still the case.

    Here's some confirmation:

I haven't seen any information leading me to believe that Marquee was still top optional. Guess we'll see.

Bamboo is the most low-key of all of the pools. Boulevard is a little bigger and more more busy meaning you'll need to get there early unless you reserve a cabana/day bed etc...

Last year I emailed a concierge about Marquee pricing for guests

Marquee was indeed toptional as of last year. However, they really don't advertise it like the other European style pools, such as Bare and Moorea. If I am not mistaken, Marquee is also run by the people behind Tao Beach, which is also a topless pool and is also pretty down-low about it.

The wife and I stayed at the Cosmo 4 years ago, and didn't like the pool area one bit.

We stay for 10 nights, and like to try and spend a good few hours per day round the pool to top up our pasty English skins.

The Cosmo hotel is a lovely hotel, with great facilities, but the grounds outside are just too small. If you are into the party scene and like standing in 2 inches of water and acting all crazy then you will love it, if you are not you will struggle to find a sunbed in any of the pools....

I guess if we don't like it we can always walk down to Caesars Palace and use the GotG.

Which pool were you at? The few times I have been to the bamboo pool, it didn't have a party vibe at all

+1. Bamboo has always been chill when i been. Blvd pool can get pretty busy during weekends but during a weekday there is plenty of room. Marquee dayclub, well thats another story..

We would always try the Bamboo Pool first, but on 7 of the 10 days we tried, we couldn't get a sunbed (lounger) so were forced to venture to the other pools.
