Is there coffee makers in any of the rooms or can u get one loaned
I've only stayed there once, in a terrace room. I remember a mini bar and a microwave but don't recall a coffee pot.
A search of recent reviews on Tripadvisor seems to confirm that there are no coffee makers in the Cosmopolitan's rooms.
You'll need to contact the hotel directly to see if they provide them on request. One way to do this is try asking via their FB page.
Just go buy one at Cvs or Walgreens or Abc. Somebody has to sell them. Then toss it when you leave town.
Now that you mention it, I recall this being a fairly common practice in Vegas years ago because I believe the County Health Department ordered hotels to stop providing them, or they changed the rules to require specific cleaning instructions for coffee makers that involved too much labor so the hotels stopped providing them. I don't drink coffee, so I'm not up to date on the subject.
At any rate, CVS website has a Mr Coffee model for $21 (plus tax)
You can check availability by store by entering a zip code.
I was just at the Cosmo. No coffee maker but a small pot of coffee (about 3-4 cups) was $8 + tip
My wife bought a small coffee maker last year and we take it with us. It's really small and the convenience of having your own coffee maker in the room is really nice.
I'm sure we've also saved a boat-load not having to go somewhere to buy coffee or tea.
wow... isn't that a huge waste? (electronic waste more than financial waste)
how many cups of coffee are you typically drinking per day in the room?
Wouldn't have to actually toss it. Could just leave it in the room.
Or you could take it out to one of the panhandlers on the skywalk, as their are many.
I discovered a very decent instant coffee. If your room type has a microwave, then give Starbucks via Instant - Columbia a try. Mine is already packed. Not thing Berger than making a cup of coffee in the morning and enjoying it out on your terrace.
'Not thing Berger than making a cup', yeah, that's what I always say !
Damn auto correct
if you checked into a hotel room and saw the coffee maker, and you knew that the hotel does not provide a coffee maker, what would you do with it?
that is, if the maid service did not already remove it
