Does not surprise me... I was expecting this ever since they started doing 6:5 blackjacks back in March.

i dunno, i think their current $150 resort credit for a 3 night stay is pretty good. got me free room service breakfast every day for most of my trip :licklips:
up it to 200-250 and it all than makes up for the resort fee.

This. They are operating like a club... they are the hot property, so are milking people who PAY for rooms and PAY for food... hosts, comps, odds, limits are all NOT ideal there but it is still a cool place to visit.

I don't think its the type of place for a gambler... its just a boutique hotel such as Trump or Vdara that isn't handicapped by not having a Casino. If that makes any sense at all... essentially i feel the casino isnt the focus or profit center of the property, but they do have one.

i do agree the casino isnt considered a profit center...dont know how long they can survive by milking the hotel and club crowd...but during my stay 2 weeks ago i found plenty of 3:2 BJ tables (half were 6:5)...on weekdays i even played at $10 BJ tables on weekdays. so its not THAT bad as people think it is...and their dealers were BY FAR the best i encountered during my trip (though we'll see if i get any offers for my stay/play there)
