I promise this is the last question I am going to ask regarding rooms. I am having a huge problem picking and need some advice.

I am currently booked in a Mirage Tower Suite 9/3 - 9/7. I have always wanted to stay at Mirage and I booked it for about $1200 with a $150 resort credit. It is just for my boyfriend and myself. The negatives for me are the fact that it only offers one bathroom (no half bath) and I like to use a half bath to finish getting ready while he is in the shower. Also, I am not a big fan of the wrap that they put on the windows. The positives are that the hotel is more our speed. We are in our 30's, not into nightclubs, and I love the casino and the overall vibe at the Mirage.

Two days ago I received what I feel is a pretty good offer from the Cosmo. It is an upgrade from a Terrace Studio to a Terrace Suite. The total price for the room would be about $1300 for the 4 nights. We have stayed at the Cosmo twice, once in a Terrace 1 bedroom fountain view and the other time in a wraparound suite. While we loved the rooms, we were not big fans of the hotel. It attracts a crowd much different from us. I found the service in all the bars to be lacking and overall just didn't love the hotel outside of the room. With that said I am finding it hard to pass up a suite with two full bathrooms, a washer and dryer, not to mention a balcony that overlooks the fountains.

I just can't seem to make myself pull the trigger on booking the room at the Cosmo. We do enjoy staying at different hotels and I don't want to regret not staying at the Mirage, but I feel like I am getting twice the room for an extra $100 if I cancel and book at the Cosmo.

Can anyone offer any advice on which I should choose?

    Thanks in advance!!

Never stayed at the mirage but can't beat eating breakfast or dinner or have a drink on the balcony

As far as the room goes you are getting a far superior room @ Cosmo and since its a terrace suite you also get a garuanteed fountain view. For me it would be a no brainer but since u dont like Cosmo its a decision only u can make.

I highly doubt this will be your last question - LOL!

If it was a first visit, I would do Cosmo. But, you have already done that.

As to the "wrap" on the windows at Mirage.... we did not notice anything about that bothering us. To each their own.

Mirage is okay, but nothing great. Getting a suite is nice.

Have you looked at Mandalay Bay and/or TheHotel?

Stick with Mirage. You want to stay there and I have a feeling that you will be much happier for all the reasons you stated. Tower Suites are great for people over 30 and we vastly prefer to stay there over Cosmo, which we tried once but won't go back.

If you take the terrace out of the equation the Mirage suite is larger and nicer.
I've read about other people spending a lot of time on the terrace but I did not.
It was nice to be able to walk outside every now and then but not a big deal to me.
