If your room is comped, you don't have to pay the resort fee.

When I called a couple weeks before my trip, they told me that I didn't have to pay the resort fee unless I wanted the amenities that went along with it.
When I got there, I told them I didnt want to pay the resort fee and the lady at the front desk said that I still got the free wifi in the room. I didn't check to see if the wifi worked as I was too busy losing in the casino.

Cosmo waived the resort fee at check in on our recent stay using a VIP promotion offer as well.

As a side note, the wifi was pretty crappy. It logs your device off the network all the time and we finally had to get a pin because the room information only worked sporadically when logging on.

I booked a stay at the Cosmo in October, will resort fees apply to me?
