2 weeks ago I spent 3 nights in the one bedroom terrace studio, and really enjoyed it. Especially the Japanese soaking tub. (I've also previously stayed in a regular terrace studio and I know many like that over the 1 bedroom terrace studio, but I preferred the 1 bedroom).

I have already gotten another nice offer, and I am playing with the idea of planning another trip in May (pending my fathers health closer to that point).

Part of this offer is 4 nights in a Terrace suite. I know this room is like 300 sq ft larger and has a full kitchen as well as an extra bathroom. But it does't have that deep soaking tub!

So my question is, for those who have stayed in both, which do you prefer?

First, I couldn't care less about the tub, so take this with a grain of salt: there is no comparison!

The Terrace Suite feels much more than 300 ft bigger. There are two distinct rooms as opposed to the one big room with pocket doors to separate the areas. And, unless I'm mistaken, the Terrace Suites all have a fountain view so no worries about asking for an "upgrade". Plus, there's the second (full) bathroom.

But, if the tub is a big deal for you and you don't need the extra space and bath...then go with your instinct. You're the one staying there, after all! And you already know you like that room. High quality problem!

Aside from your preference for the soaking tub, the Terrace Suite is better. Larger, better layout, etc.

Just FYI, the tub in the Terrace Suite is large, but it's regular shaped. It's not a full-on jacuzzi type, but it does have air jets, like the ones at Aria.

As other have mentioned there is no comparison, terrace suite is a much nicer room and there is a reason they are going for more then wraparounds nowadays. Also bigger balconies and feels at least twice as big due to the layout, the 1 bedroom is meh in comparison.

Man, that is tough. Both rooms have great things, but I think that the Terrace Suite has the edge. I've stayed in both. My first time at the Cosmo was in a Terrace Suite with 2 of my friends. The 2nd time was with my boyfriend in the 1 bedroom. I absolutely loved the Terrace Suite, but I prefer staying in the East Tower. It's in the same tower as BLVD pool, bars, restaurants, the nightclub, and the short walking distance to Las Vegas Blvd (Walgreens/Aria, etc) is ridiculous. As a lover of high heeled shoes at night, cutting down the walking time was

The Terrace Suite is only in the West Tower  I never used the bubbler tub in the Terrace Suite. I wanted to, but just never gotten around to using it.

In the 1 bedroom, I did receive a comp upgrade to a fountain view for my birthday. I loved that I was in the East Tower and I did use that soaking tub a few times. The view from the tub was amazing and I enjoyed it very much. I didn't like that the 1 bedroom kitchenette/living room had a dark and dreary vibe. Because of the layout, the bathroom and the bedroom get the majority of the sunlight. The kitchenette and living space, not so much because the space doesn't get direct sunlight-there are no windows. Of course, you can just turn on the lights, but I prefer the natural light of the sun in the daytime. I would stay in a 1 bedroom again, however.

For me, even though the Terrace Suite has so many pros over the 1 bedroom, I would pick the 1 bedroom, but get a fountain view. I don't like staying in the West Tower and that soaking tub was everything.

    Pros for Terrace Suite
    Full kitchen
    Guaranteed Fountain View
2 full bathrooms (1 with a bubbler tub)
Washer/Dryer (dryer came in handy for getting out wrinkles in clothes quickly)
    Larger and brighter

    Pros for 1 bedroom
    Soaking tub
Location isn't limited to only the West Tower
