The wifey signed up for the Cosmopolitan Identity Membership & Rewards program and she was sent an email saying thanks for your interest. Too discover what we have to offer and enjoy a complimentary room upgrade when you book and stay by 3/27/16. Then it says to redeem call and mention offer code? Can anyone tell me how this works?

She calls them to make a reservation, mentions the offer code and receives a complimentary room upgrade?

I have a gut feeling you might be right on this one.

I am going to lean towards you call and mention the offer code.

The terrace studio and terrace 1 bedrooms are great rooms.

Well we called and it's no complimentary upgrade! We all know that you get a better rate booking online versus calling but to receive complimentary upgrade its says to redeem to call and mention offer code. When we got prices it was way more than online booking even for the upgraded type room.

I would book my (cheaper) room online, then call the reservations line and tell them I wanted to redeem my free upgrade offer on my existing reservation.

I'd book a City Room online and then call and see about the upgrade. Typically the upgrade from City to Terrace Studio is $50/night.
