I have read a few reviews and even seen posts on here that seem to suggest that all TERRACE SUITES have a view that overlook the Bellagio fountains.
For those who have made this claim, how do you know?

If I book a terrace suite does this mean I have a guaranteed view of the fountains? Is there anywhere on the Cosmopolitan website that states this? I can't find anything that officially confirms this.

Some friends had stayed in a WRAPAROUND SUITE and there was NO view of the fountain! They were on the other side of the tower. So I guess it's safe to say all wraparounds do NOT have a fountain view! Right?
Could this be the same case with a terrace suite?

Thinking about finishing out our last night at the Cosmo. I like the price for the night but I'm not sold without a fountain view.

I've never stayed at Cosmo but from what I've read all Terrace Suites have fountain views. Not all terrace studios or wraparound terraces have fountain views.

All terrace suites face the same direction and have an ideal view of the fountains. Wraparounds face various directions and have many different views, some with no fountain view at all.

I can confirm that this is true. All terrace suits are also located in the west tower with excellent views overlooking the fountain.

You could maybe give them a call... And check Marriott's site too.
It's listed as; The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Autograph Collection.

All Terrace Suites are in the West Tower, facing the Bellagio Fountains. Have stayed in one three times, always had fountain view. First time, I asked at desk for fountain view and was told they all had fountain views, however, you probably need to be at least on 20th floor or above to have a good view.

Yes, at least the 20th floor. This was the view from our Terrace suite on the 23rd floor in May, 2011:

This question was asked on another board a few weeks back.

There was still some confusion after all the answers, so I e.mailed the Cosmo and was told by a "representative" that ALL Terrace Suite rooms have a fountain view.

For what its worth, my host at Cosmo just sent me a confirmation for a wraparound terrace suite with a "premier view". I didn't ask, but I assume that means the fountains and Strip. So that may be the key words to look for when confirming a Cosmo room has the best view

All Terrace Suites have fountain views but are in the Westside Tower which is closest to the reception desk/buffet, not the strip.

I believe "premier" means fountain view but doesn't mean a Strip view. In theory you could have a wraparound in the east tower that faces back towards the west tower and also towards the fountains.

Hopefully you have the Strip + Fountains though.

Very nice. That is an ideal view!

So I think its safe to say the Terrace Suite is a guaranteed fountain view.
That 23rd floor doesn't even look that high up so it does look like floor 20+ would be best.

Do the Terrace Suites start at the ground level? It would really suck to get a low terrace that could be obstructed or blocked. I think the Jockey Club hotel is tucked away down there between the Cosmo tower and the Bellagio fountains.

I went for it and booked! Just staying in this suite for the last night in Vegas. I like to believe there is a good chance to get a high floor room/good view since were only staying 1 night. Get ya in and get ya out quick!
