I booked a cyber monday trip but need to cancel or reschedule my trip. I called and they said this was non-refundable. Any idea how to get value or change trip that might work ornhas worked in the past?
I was so used to fully refundable rooms I didnt think twice about it.
    Thanks
    G

There were a lot of complaints on this forum for that very thing. it was a decent deal but being short notice and non refundable made it hard. do you have any history with the hotel? I've never tried but can you make someone else authorized to check in and possibly sell it?

When i worked at a hotel we let ppl cancel their "non-refundable" rooms but in my experience very few places do this. They have the deals for low times and if they let people cancel they would lose out a lot.

You are probably stuck, always read the fine print. Are you positive you can't go when you booked?

This is the exact reason why the Cosmo cyber monday deal was garbage. Limited horrible benefits and non-refundable? Yeah no thanks.

You are probably out of luck on this one; take it as a good lesson to read the terms and conditions before booking something.

    1. Call Cosmo and ask if they can accommodate you on another date that works better for you.
    2. Try to sell the reservation to a friend for a lower rate. Just add them as an addt'l guest, so that they can check-in.
    3. Pay for this reservation and consider it a learning lesson with non-refundable rates.
