    Hi guys,

I am going to back to vegas next month. I usaully stay in a TR property since I play in AC alot. I am a Black card holder in the borgata and was a diamond tr until recently. I played in the cosmo my last visit and earned 45,000 pt in 2 days of play. I called the Cosmo, after getting a bunch of offers in the mail and asked to speak with a host. The host looked me up in the computer and comped me 4 nights in a wrap around terrace suite, I also got a promotion for 500 food credit and 1500 in promotional chips in the mail. I am a BJ and roulette player and I avg bet is between 300 and 1k per hand. My concern is everything I am reading about cosmo. Do they really comp people and then bill them at the end if the don't meet there standards?? I mean if a take a beating the first night I might lay low for a day or so... Never heard of a host doing this.... thanks

I think a lot of it depends on who your host is. They brought in a lot of new people when the casino opened up. Some people on this board have had some real serious problems with their hosts. This has included being lied to, being told they had a reservation only to arrive at the hotel and find nothing etc... I had to do some searching around before I found a host who actually knew what they were talking about over there. A lot of the staff just seems misinformed and kind of out of it.

I have used Matt Hagan and never had a problem. He use to work at Caesar's so he knows how this goes.

Same here. I've not seen one single posting suggesting that the cosmo did this.

People share things sometimes without any basis.

There was the instance where a host offered me to jump ship to Cosmo, but said if my play didn't qualify I'd have to pay for everything! This maybe what the OP is referring too.

However on a corporate offer I doubt the OP has to worry about being charged.

    cosmo

Guess I got off on the wrong foot here. I am only posting what I read, I see alot of complaints on here about Cosmo. I actually stayed there 3 years ago and had a bad experience with my room and the sewer backing up, the room stunk. I had to demand a hotel manager come to the room and change us. But on the other hand I played there last year and really liked the way I was treated and I love the balcony and room style so decided to give it another shot. The Host I spoke with seemed to be very receptive to me and comped me my up coming stay... I was just trying to get a feel if all the stuff people are saying is really that
common ie. getting there and the reservations not being right etc.. Didnt mean to insult anyone. But based on my first stay experience I am alittle leary.
