I have been in contact with my host at the Aria prior to booking my flight and his response was " I can always sort your room and Limo transfers ".

I booked my flight from London a week ago and e-mailed my host the following day ( the 22nd ) to confirm my arrival on Jan 1st for a weeks stay.....come on  cant wait, counting my slepps but i digress.

I'd had no response so I e-mailed him again this Fri confirming my flight details and arrival time but again as yet no confirmed reservation.:confused2: Now I know it's holiday time and everything so I was going to wait untill tomorrow before my frett becomes a mild panic but I do have his business card as a back up. :poke:
As I'm in the UK I wondered if I can drop him a text and would it be as straight forward as texting someone in the UK? never done it before and it starts with 702 so any help on that would be helpfull thanks:wave:

I have found that some hosts, especially at Aria, are slow to respond.

I have no idea what "sort your room" means though.

You could try to text, but I am guessing the text back would cost him and may even be blocked. Email again is my best suggestion.

My host has always responded promptly in the past and he comp'd m last stay.

I dont necessarily want him to respond by text but i would like to know that im not turning up out of the blue and end up paying rack rate or no availability. so any response is better than my current position.

I'd call, not text, tomorrow, call during your own regular business hours and leave him a voice mail. And if you don't hear back by 10:00 or 11:00pm, I'd call VIP Services at Aria and make sure you at least have a reservation and if not, ask to speak with some other host.

He may have been taking vacation time, but you don't have any time left to dick around.
