Last year we came out for first weekend of March Madness, because of work schedule we will be coming the week of all the conference tournies.I am staying at the MGM and I see the Pac 10 or I guess Pac 12 (cant get used to that) is being played there which is cool but what are the sportsbooks like are they tough to get seats in for that week also?

The books should be much less crowded that week. I wasn't at MGM last year, so they may have a little more going on since they are hosting a tournament, but it's nothing like the first weekend of MM.

I actually think that week is better than MM. Books will be lively, but not nearly as crowded. Tables won't be as crowded, and will have lower limits. Plus there's actually way more action than there is MM week. There is pretty much a game on from the time you wake up until about midnight. You can also ride hot teams through the tourneys. I remember one year I rode Syracuse through the Big East tourney and made bank. They were a dog every game but got hot, which made for some nice ML bets.

IMO, that week is even better than any of the "Big Dance". You have a TON more games being played, and there are plenty being played right in Las Vegas if you are so inclined to go see some!

Agree with everyone that has already posted. It's just great. Books can be busy (think random NFL Sunday) but not March Madness ridiculous. Lots of good technical trends to play. And you can go see games in person at MGM, Thomas & Mack, or Orleans if you get the urge.

Actually have a friend who is an assistant on the Arizona staff so that should work out well.
