Last trip to MB I played Waaaaay more than normal, because of some good hits, etc. I have a nice offer with some FP, rooms. My friend also has a better offer so we are combining. Now, is the offer based on what we played on our last visit, or what they are expecting from us on this visit?

If you are offered $200 Food credit, is it that you are getting a portion of what you gambled last time in food credit, or do they think you are likely to cover that much of your food credit because this is your gambling pattern as of your last visit?

My friend has a host, the rooms are free, the limo is free, I have some MyVegas rewards, we have food and FP credits... I know of no other vacation destination that already puts you ahead of the game before you even arrive!

the offer you are getting is probably because they think you will easily play enough to cover the comps. You may or many - that is their gamble.

Very hard to say if it is from the "very last trip", or a string of trips. Back room magic at play here.

upfront offers are based on previous trips. they are hoping that this trip you play at the same level or more than last trip and cover everything they gave you upfront, but that's a gamble on their end. play whatever you want on this trip, you'll still get what you were offered upfront and if you play enough, you can ask for more at the end.

The offer is what they are expecting from you this visit, based on your last visit.

Based on your previous stays the casino has a rough idea of how much you will gamble and what your expected level of comps are. They are sending you this offer based on that: they expect you will play roughly the same and will earn so much in comps, so they are offering this to you up front.

If you play less then the casino has to take a loss on your expected play... if you play more then they will award you additional comps this trip if you ask for them and if you have something they can comp (IE: if you dont' charge anything to your room other than the F&B you got now, there isn't anything they can comp).
