Wanted to give the group a heads-up about receiving offers for room and free-play at Binions. I was in Vegas for most of September and I would throw $20 in the VP machines at the bar every now and then but not set the world on fire with my coin-in. I did however watch most of the NFL (Sun, Mon &Thurs) games at Benny's Bullpen and take advantage of the match free-play, which was most of my play there.

In November I got a offer in the mail from Binions for three free nights (@ Four Queens) & $80 free-play so I went to Vegas again after New Years for a week and watched the playoffs and BCS Championship game at Benny's using the match play for my entire VP action there. Yesterday in the mail I received the same offer (March thru April) which I'm going to use during the NCAA tournament in March. Although most of my action was at the Fremont, GN, 4Q's, Plaza & GG and use my players card from each, I only got comps from Binions.

Moral of my story is apparently any non-gaming income is worthy of incentives on their part to get asses through the door (and in my case it worked).

P.S. Hands down the best bartenders are at the Bullpen, they made me feel like a regular and never let me suffer the heartbreak of an empty beer mug.

I'm going to agree with you 100%! I play mostly at Boyd properties, but their downtown places only ever send me discounts lol. I barley play at Binions and I've gotten some nice freebies from them.

What am I doing wrong?! I am an ultra low roller, but always give Binion's a fair amount of play while staying DT. Never get anything. Perchance not opted into getting mailings?

I don't know what their formula is, but I think it has a lot to do with the denominations you play. My DW spends much more time on the machines there, but at lower denoms , and gets no mailers. She gets the similar amount of points as I do usually.

The best part of the Binions comps is the daily spins you earn with points. We usually hit the highest level on most days when we are there. Lots of food discounts, free play and gifts, EVERY DAY.

That very well may be a big part of it. But I will still ask next time to make sure I am on the mailing list.

I agree 100% that their other comps like the one you mentioned above are very, very generous considering my play level. Plus, I almost always seem to have enough on my card to grab a quick meal for a tip.
