We are arriving at the airport and the hotel is sending us a limo to pick us up. Curious what you think an appropriate tip with 2 bags should be.

I usually do $20 but got to thinking maybe I'm too cheap! I have given in the past show tickets too a long with tip on my return to the airport. That was only once though.

Occasionally, I ask for pick-up and return to the airport in one of the Hard Rock Escalades... I tip $20 each way. The driver neither seems over or underwhelmed and appears appreciative, as am I... It's sweet to walk down to zero level, hook-up and take off. I almost always have one carry-on bag.

If you're not causing the poor driver any trouble, then $20 is okay.

I've never been comp'd a limo, but with respect to comps, freebies, etc. I always tip the same (plus a little more since I'm feeling more generous having saved a bill) as if I'd been paying. If I get a free $100 dinner, I'm tipping $20.

So, if the limo ride would have been $100, I'd tip $15-$20 for that because it's what I would have tipped anyway. The waiters, servers, drivers, cleaners, etc, are still working just as hard and just because the property decided to throw you a bone doesn't mean the people making it all possible should ever have to suffer for it.

Where are you going? A standard $20 is fine, but you can also consider what you're getting. If you're going from the airport to MB and you're in the limo for 5 minutes, I wouldn't go more than $20. If it's rush hour and you're going up to Venetian, maybe a bit more.

Normally $20 each way for wife and I , worth it if only for the cold bottle of water :licklips:
