I enjoy good Tequila,Whiskey and even a good beer once in a while. Not House or domestic kind. Is it possible to get the good stuff while out on the floor gambling. I am more than willing to tip the waitress for the good stuff. But I'm not willing to get up from a table/machine to go the bar to get a drink. Especially if I'm on a winning streak.

    Good Tequila= Patron,Cabo,Don Julio
Good whiskey= Crown Reserve or XR
    Good beer= IPA's Micro's

I am not an expert on which casinos provide which drinks as a comp. But at the very least, if you're willing to pay for it, they will bring it. I have seen that happen at a craps table when someone wanted a high end tequila. So you can probably get most of those drinks, but you may have to pay for them

    No surprise

Nicer casinos serve top shelf--Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, Aria, Cosmo.
Ellis Island (behind Ballys) is a local brewery as is Main Street Station downtown

My hubby is always served Patron upon request on the casino floor at Paris. Friend always orders Captain or Crown there also without issue.

You shouldn't have a problem getting most of those at the mid to top properties... assuming they actually carry those specific brands. You might not be able to get XR comped(unless you are in a high limit room).

I was talking to the bartender at MGM while playing video poker and he said as long as the drink doesn't ring up over $12 they can comp it (and again that was just while playing VP). I usually drink Glenlivet or Macallan 12 year... and those are both comped playing VP or at the tables.

Ask for whatever you want. The worst they're gonna do is say they can't comp it or they don't carry it.

This all day long. It's an automatic "no" if you don't ask.

the other thing that can happen when you ask for a specific high-end liquor on the floor and they won't comp it is the CW just brings you a drink with well liquor without saying anything.

I've had that happen. Ask for a Crown and coke and got some random rye and coke. With the exceptions of pina coladas, I drink exclusively Crown, so it's not hard to notice when they use generic rye. Never thought of Crown Royal as a high end liquor though, heh. Maybe if you're asking for reserve or better I suppose but regular or black is good enough for me.

The tips do drop a bit when this is done unannounced though. I'd be fine if the CW told me up front that they didn't comp Crown on the floor, but that's never happened.

Your requests are not that over the top, even for a lower limit game on the floor of most strip casinos. Only the DJ might be a no.

unless your an expert on exactly what that brand tastes like you wont know if they give you something else especialy if its mixed. unless your in the high roller rooms i think you just have to hope you get the brand you want but know your prolly wont. otherwise everyone would ask for top shelf and the casino would go broke :peace:

You supposedly have 25 trips to Vegas, and don't know what kind of spirit to ask for on the floor?
