    Hi all.

Recently completed a stay at Bellagio. Upon receiving final bill, I noticed that a dinner for two at Yellowtail as well as drinks from our day at the pool were not on the bill (reserved pool chairs were).

I am a lowly Pearl member, who maybe goes once a year. Did I get comped or was I lucky with some sort of clerical error. I am certain that I charged both of these things to our room.

    What say you?

It's possible they didn't get added to your account promptly. You might still get a charge for those items. I've had it happen before at other properties. You may have just gotten lucky though as I imagine a place like bellagio would be on top of things.

If you didn't speak with a host about your bill then I doubt they were just "taken off".

Just wait & see. Had this happen once....charge came thru 6 months later. There had been an issue with their bankcard processor & by MC/visa rules & regs...there is no time limit on posting a legal charge. The same rules apply to the entertainment packages used by most hotels/restaurants....could just have gotten lost in space....lol & may land at a later date.

    I'd assume clerical error myself.

And 6 months later @sybgal ? That sucks! I would probably bitch at the casino for the delay regardless of legality.

If you had a resort credit... their systems usually just remove things. They do not show the charge and then a credit. It just goes away. The only way you would know if it hit your account would be if you added a tip and that will show.

Yes.... I knew I owed it so did not complain. Even sophisticated systems can malfunction at times. Guess I am more understanding since I worked MC/Visa Fraud for many years & know how it happens & don't want a legit company loosing $$ due to something beyond their control.

+1 for Resort Credit. Had the same thing happen to me. I was going nuts trying to figure out why my bill was so low. Pulled out all my receipts and balanced the bill right there.

A similar incident happened to me a few years ago and coincidently it was at the B also. We had friends join us at the pool and we all (10 of us) had two rounds of drinks. To make things easier for the girl, I told her to put the charges to my room. When the party broke up our friends offered to reimburse me for their drinks and my wife told them that we'll get them "because Sam hit a big jackpot last night". Well, I took a beating that evening to the tune close to that jackpot! GRRRRR Two weeks after Vegas, those drinks and tips were charged! Ouch! Doesn't hurt nearly as bad in Vegas than home. LOL

Thanks for the replies. I did not speak with a host since we didn't gamble that much (lost $500 or so) and I figured it'd be a waste of time. We did not have resort credit. It's been 4 weeks since we checked out, so I guess I'll have to wait 5 more months before I feel comfortable. Hopefully, the receipts were lost by our servers.

At this point, I will consider it a win!
