Just wondering if emails from a hotels VIP services are from casino "hosts" or just marketing. FYI....offer was for 3 free nights/75 fp/ 250 FB At Bellagio. Just curious to know if a host was assigned to my account or what?

It's based on a computer algorithm. They track your play and and figure out what you're worth. You can always call or email a host and see if your play is attractive for them. All they can say is no. I recently emailed a host at NYNY, got a quick reply initially asking for my mlife number but nothing since. Play must not be good enough. Haha. Honestly I just wanted an idea of the play expected at the nyny since it isn't as fancy as bellagio, Cosmo, aria, etc...

You sure? On my most recent trip, my friends wanted to ride the roller coaster at NYNY so while they were in line, I went into the high limit room and killed time playing $200/hand bj for 2 hours without giving them my mlife card (didn't want to mess up my rating).

    No one noticed me. :poke:

    yes .
put it like this i wa playing at luxor 200$ a hand in hl with in 15 minutes a host came and ask where im staying and said your welcome to stay her 3 nites comped anytime , nite clubs no problem,

why wouldnt you wan to get rated at 200$ A hand at ny ny not many people play like that there. maybe thats why you where not noticed .you didnt give your card so they figured you didnt want to botherd

i know some of the pit criters there some i dont but ny ny is considerd mlife's local hotel..

funny story happend a few times . im play dd on the regular floor by myself play 100$ a hand , then start going between 200-400$ a hand with in seconds they where on the phone to survalance .its happend a few times.
pretty funny as all i was doing was playing basic startegy.

you can always walk into a host office on the floor in the hl room

I do mostly craps. I will start off slow with pass line and some odds to get going. If a couple of points are hit and I'm feeling good I'll start spreading it around. $75 to $100 out on the table at a given time. Had a nice run last time. Several hours a couple nights in a row. I'm a small fish, I'm not fooling myself. I'll take my occasional comp room at NYNY. But $100/hand BJ isn't too crazy considering the low house advantage.

Though to all the low rollers out there, don't be afraid to go to the players club desk before you check out and see if they'll comp anything. I did it and they knocked off one of my nights plus $20 or $30 in food. It doesn't hurt to ask and they won't do it if you don't ask.
