MGM offered me 3 nights comped in March, which I accepted. I made the reservation for a 4 night stay, with the last night at the casino rate.

A VMB post here alerted me to March dates for the MGM Bonus nights. One of the nights available was my arrival night on my original reservation. I purchased the reward.

When redeeming it, and making the reservation, the clerk stated the MyVegas reward is for a West Wing King room. The MGM comp offer is for a Grand King room.

I'd rather not move during my stay. Are the rooms that different? Should I attempt to upgrade the WWKing room on arrival?

Any input or suggestions are appreciated.

My guess is you should be fine . . . . . in October my husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Monte Carlo: two nights comped from Mlife, one night at a reduced rate and one free night from myvegas. Granted the myvegas night was scheduled to be he last one of our trip so that could be distinguished as a difference between your circumstance and ours. Anyway, we tried the $20 trip upon check-in and the poor clerk sincerely tried to get us a suite but they were oversold on all suites because there was a PGA tournament going on (she said they actually even oversold diamond suites so those guests were going to have to be downgraded). She told us to come back two days later and check, but we never did. She was treating the whole reservation as a 4 night stay.

One thing you'll have to remember is to make sure clerks have your offers linked. We actually had to go back to the front desk on our last night to re-checkin or else our key wouldn't have worked.
