Just started drinking the mixture and in the 5 years since I had the last one, I must admit they've improved the taste a lot.

If you're age 50+, I urge you to get one!:poke:

And it's not just the guys. In 2009, the most recent stats available, 51,848 people died from colon rectal cancer. 26,806 men and 25,042 women.

Ok Dr. Joe is done with his lecture, gotta run!:wink2:

wife just had one about a month back before having another procedure. She mixed the mixture with gatorade and said it was pretty bad but the gatorade covered alot of it up. Good luck!!

Best wishes for a clean bill of health.

Two good friends were diagnosed with colon cancer within a week of each other, both were 45. One fought it successfully, the other succumbed after a 6 year fight.

    45...horrible.

I am 41 and it makes me want to get one soon.

I was going to wait until 50.

I wonder if eating oatmeal reduces the chance of cc. I eat a good half cup every other day.
Not to mention, 2 bowls of Cheerios often.

At age 41, your insurance company may not pay for it unless there is family history or if there are symptoms. I got scoped shortly after hearing the news about my two buddies. Probably time for me to go again. Here is a classic skit by Damon Wayans, funny sh*t.

I posted this before. The colonoscopy is now 100% covered under preventative care unless...they find something, like a polyp. If they do, then it goes from being preventative, to diagnostic and all your deductibles apply. Another loophole the insurance companies created.

This is my 3rd one in 15 years. In the first two they found pre-cancerous polyps, so I'm assuming they will again this time.

We buy our own insurance and carry high deductibles ($5,000).

I will post back in a month or so after the bills grind their way through the system, what my out of pocket costs turn out to be. Maybe I'll get lucky this time and they won't find any.
