Hey everyone! I'll be in Vegas on a college football Saturday and I'd love to watch some games with likeminded fans. Last year, I saw a several people walking through the Bellagio decked out in my school's colors (purple and gold, Geaux Tigers!) with an official looking person with a walkie talkie. Are there official viewing parties that one can go to based on your school or conference?

hey, put on a ring on that furniture moving toe, and at least your toe will be school colors!

don't know which weekend you will be there, and i won't, but the friday night alumni party for the montana state bobcats game the next day, whatever weekend it is, at southern utah is at hyde at the bellagio! if that fits your weekend, you have my permission to represent.

It might be easiest to check with your school alumni association and see if they know of any (esp if you have a Vegas branch that's active) Sometimes my school will post activities on their facebook page, also on their website.

    Hi

I usually get to Vegas at least twice during football season and have spent some happy (and not so happy) Saturdays pulling for my Gators in the Bellagio sportsbook and usually will run into a few fellow Gators along with fans of all the major teams. It really is a lot of fun and I've met a lot of nice people.

There might be an official almuni viewing party but that might be off strip somewhere.

    Have fun!

Well, my official viewing party is at Tommy Rocker's, off strip on Dean Martin Drive. Guess I'll just have to tolerate the Bama fans. :rolleyes2:

(all in love, all in love. SEC!SEC!)

Maybe you'll meet some Razorback fans to pick on.

ULMonroe?? My boys,RU play them in two weeks, figured to take a beating from a SEC powerhouse, but now I think we have a chance.

LSU?? Really???? Is your coach still munching on the field before the game? Then again, I live next door to Vandy's stadium, so as a neighbor of the SEC doormat, I will keep my outh shut (at least until basketball season when my Cats will start rolling again!!!)

The only organized viewing parties I have seen on the Strip are for west coast schools. I used to think UT fans were annoying until I sat near a USC party :Þ
