    Heynow Gamblers.....

I have a couple futures tickets on season total wins. If by chance my teams were to reach the over number part way through the season can I collect early ?

My thought is no, but logic would dictate the number has been met = payable.

    Thanks
    Rusty

In my experience, you need to wait until after the last game even if your number already covered. My Arizona ticket covered while I was in town in November for the half-marathon last year and the book at the Bellagio told me it wasn't official until the regular season is over.

    Thanks......

Makes sense I gues from a profit standpoint for the Book, hold my money longer, make more interest or however they keep it.

And keep in mind, a certain number of games need to be played for there to be action. I have written in the past about not being able to cash a winning ticket on the Celtics when their final game of the season was cancelled. You always have to wait until the end of the season

No kidding..........that's brutal. I can see that becoming more and more of a possibility with games being stopped due to weather/ lightning concerns. Had never thought about that sort of thing.

Learn something new every day, thanks.

Woo hoo.......won both my season over/under bets today with the Raiders getting to 6, my other was the Washington Huskies getting to 5.

They didn't pay a ton, but beating the casinos is always fun. I'll keep my tickets until March when when we go back, will pretty much cover my sports betting BR for that trip.

That's what I love about making a few bets before you leave....it gives you the chance to start your next trip already ahead!
