Does anyone know how much coin-in you need to have to generate comps for $1/$5 max bet video poker? I ran about $15k through at Cosmo during my 2 day stay there and am curious if it will generate interest.

It all depends on where you are. I would imagine you'll get some bounce back offers from Cosmo.

Downtown they would definitely cover your room for 3 nights, probably some free play and/or food.

I hear that Caesars (CET) properties have easier comps on the strip than MILF properties. Maybe that's so.

Sun-Thursday marketing offer might be reasonable. They typically send out offers on Tuesdays via email so give it a week and see. Maybe you'll get one tomorrow but perhaps next Tuesday.

    don't expect much.
$15K coin-in is about $300 theo (assume 2% hold, the number they are using maybe lower, for 9-5 JOB, the true number is 1.5%, I doubt they will give you 2%).
So your comp level will be $100. That's barely enough to cover the room.
They may send you a teaser offer in the beginning though.

It depends. I played at MSS for 6000 hands, that's 30K coin-in. Get absolutely nothing.
I know, I was playing on the $1 DB (100,17%) and even came out ahead a few thousand.
(I had my fair share of 4As, otherwise I quitted much earlier). So I have no complaint.

    How long ago was this?
    30k in one day?
It took us a while to start getting offers from MSS.

The 10/7 DB At MSS doesn't give points there are stickers on them saying that.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't really expect anything, but it would be nice. At the least, I made Sterling this trip - so I have 1 free night.

It happened a few months ago. I think it was in July.

I thought those machines required $3 in for one point.

Have you looked at your account at https://www.bconnectedonline.com/ ?
That's major coin-in for one day, I believe you will get some offers.

I agree; if alcohol was not a factor, I recall3 $ coin in per point for purposes of level etc. but still earn 1 comp point for each $ in. If so 30K would turn in to 10K ? no?

The more I think about it, I might be the one that drinks to much. I haven't played them the last two trips, I had a pic that showed the sticker but can't find it.

Yes, this is correct for the machines with the stickers. All the others are $1 in equals 1 point.

Yes, those machines are $3 for 1 point.
When I was there, I saw one gentleman, his player's card display: "session points 16521" which means he played almost $50K coin-in in that session!!!!
Even a player as crazy as myself couldn't believe my eyes.

    Yes, I looked online, nothing.
On the other hand, I don't expect anything or need anything from them. I only need them to keep those 100%+ machines alive.

Seems like the older coin machines at Fremont are also $3 = 1pt. Like the treasure chest. Damn I cannot get quads on those machines.... I will try again in a few weeks.

I've spent too much time figuring out their system. Haha. It's nice to stay the Cosmo for free. Typically resort fee will be charged unless you have Gold or a host knocks it off for you.

Funny I never have been charged resort fee except for my sterling night (which I got knocked off by a host.)

I get comped 2 free weekday nights for waaaay less play... something like 5K daily average coin-in, so yeah, you should be getting something very nice.

If I remember correctly, it took me like a little longer than a month to start getting offers.
