    Oh Oh

Not very encouraging comment.....haven't stayed at the Plaza in fifteen years. Just thought maybe they'd upgraded abit. Usually stay on the strip but daughter wants to "experience" Fremont street. No problem, I'll just take my travel pot. Can't stand having to dress and go down to pickup coffee before my eyes are open and can't open eyes until the first cup.

The rooms are much nicer since the "remodel". They didn't have a coffee pot in the room when I stayed there in March. I'd call them and ask though.

Finally have the room booked! Look for me Feb 21-23

Lol, I took pictures of my room and posted them on facebook, saying I prefer my $25 room there over the high end ones on the strip. A friend replied she could see why it was only $25, there wasnt any bedding.

The rooms are pretty bare bones, but clean and comfortable. Mine had no coffee maker, no garbage can, and no ashtray (smoking room). I called and asked for a garbage can and an ashtray. The counter/desk that the television was sitting on had about 20 cigarette burn marks on it. Umm, if you can see people are burning your furniture, you would think you would put ashtrays in the smoking rooms..... Most important to me, the beds are clean and comfortable, and the ice machines work great.

    Bare bones

Smoking room and good ice machine & a clean bed....we can make that work. Got a little spoiled on the strip but hey Fremont street is a trip in it's own. Looking forward to it.

No coffeepot. 24 hr McDonald's in the lobby has excellent coffee,,,$1.79 for 2 senior ups. Don't worry about dressing up.

We're in a clean room comped for a week with about $100/day in slot play.

Plaza isn't fancy but it has a lot of food choices, easy comps and close to everything downtown.

    Give it a try.
