In April when I went to redeem the ACG free drink coupons I noticed the place was just about empty with no one even at the bar. Looks like it will be closing Labor Day weekend

Yep... I never enjoy seeing the demise of a business, but this one has struggled for some time.

they would have been smarter to brand this as a convention center hotel without the casino

many companies will not allow a corporate stay at a casino hotel and yet they had the "branding" for a rewards program that was not from a casino company

they have kind of the worst of both....."rewards" that are meaningless to most gamblers and gambling that gets in the way of business travelers that might be limited from staying at a casino hotel yet still want rewards

Very valid points... our group has most of it's functions at The Trump or Platinum for the whole non-gaming reason. It was tough enough to get them to Las Vegas. Kills me how so many think just getting off the plane in Las Vegas turns you into an alcoholic gambling addict and ruins the corporate image!

An empty bar is my favorite time to offer to buy the house a round.

It's a shame they couldn't do something with it because the location isn't horrible.

Stayed there back in June for $30 per weekend night, no resort fee. The pricing was great but it was pretty empty and sad inside.
