We have seen this in the past, but once again they were disassembling the giant Christmas tree on Fremont St.

    7:30 AM on 12/26!!

Funny thing is that the huge Menorah was still up and that ended December 16th.

    Give Suncoast another try.
Our new favorite place to stay, but gamble at MSS

It does seem like they want to move on quickly. And, they're not alone. I was in Hollywood (CA) this week and they were also taking down Christmas decorations the day after. Maybe it helps them spread out the work a bit between Christmas and New Year's.

They have lots of preparatory work to get ready for New Year's Eve. The tree is located where they've previously had a large scaffolding for the tv cameras and media crew to cover the mayor's countdown to midnight.
