We are all gamblers on this site. Do you still eat at your local Chipolte
I don't go very often but did go a few weeks ago. The line was very short.
Been to chipolte 3 different times...2 different sites...never got sick
Never had a issue, so yes
We don't have a Chipotle here in the hood ... yet. Haven't been in a while simply because of travel and what not but I'd certainly not be deterred. Hell, I live in America. I'm far more likely to die in a car crash or at the hand of some whacko with a gun. And I still drive all over and own guns.
Have never eaten there.
If it's near, I'll grab some for sure.
omg you are missing out!!!!
I mean, it's not taco bell, so I guess it has that going for it. But it's not like good, authentic Mexican food is any more expensive than chipotle (in fact, its frequently cheaper!), so I never understood the popularity of the place.
It was the closest joint to my last job, so I'd get it every once in awhile due to the convenience factor. Left that job last March and haven't eaten at one since.
Cphllps, you aren't missing out on anything other than a decent burrito at a mediocre price.
You need an option for "Never really cared for it anyway."
I live in a small ag town kinda off the grid, and we do taquerias and what not with the frequency with which most cities do light poles. Chipotle is going to do very well here as it does anywhere because it does not try to be "authentic Mexican food," which of course isn't a remotely monolithic cuisine to begin with. There are beans, rice, salsa, typical animal inputs, but Chipotle doesn't try to pass it off as Sonoran carne whatever, either, and each is done in a Chipotle way. It is fresh, all the inputs are rock solid and of high quality. What it is noticeably low on is grease and manteca and drippy (yummy) soft-fried corn tacos and the like. Brisket and filet don't come from very far apart in our friend the beef cattle, but ain't one remotely the other. Yet both can be great.
Yep, and since it's not marked up on the strip, I often eat it there once per trip too!
Better option here in town...
Moe's Southwest Grill
So I skip Chipotle.
I've never eaten at Chipotle. I rarely eat out, except when I'm traveling, and when I do eat out, I prefer non-chains where possible.
I had a family hand me a gift card while I was walking through the mile shops. They said the daughter didn't like it and they were leaving in an hour. Score!
They loaded that thing up too.
I live in San diego and there are so many better mexican places here there is no reason to eat at chipotle.
No not right now. I need a month with no incidents before I will go back.
Since the scare, no, but that's just by happenstance. I have eaten there about 20 times and plan to do so in the future.
