The Strip is all glitz and glamour now and we're sad to see Bill's Gamblin' Hall gone. I know Big Elvis has moved to Harrah's and we'll catch him there. But does anyone else know of some good cheesy lounge acts at casinos on the Strip or Downtown? Looking for free or cheap. My husband is a musician and we love good music as well. Seems so much is geared for younger people, we're 50 so we're not looking for a young crowd. Any ideas?

last summer we went to sam`s town to see the fab which is a beatles tribute band, low key but a nice diversion.

riviera has some good stuff in their lounge sometimes also.

they also have some interesting entertainment in the lounge at orleans.

they definitely "could" have good entertainment at the large bar at the Orleans.....A friend of mine went, loves Motown and saw nothing the week prior to me going and there was a group from Chicago (they were billed) and they played fabulous Platters, Coasters, etc. type music with all the synchronization and spins you could ask for . And the hoots and hollers when the hanky was mopping the perspiration....Oh my!! You can go on line to see who is scheduled at Orleans lounges......it can be entertaining both on and off stage.....good luck

Though not a lounge act I think the group who plugs in car batteries for power to their instruments between Paris and PH is as cheesy as it gets in Vegas. I would say the group that entertains the masses in front of Ballys a close second, by the way what the hell are they supposed to be doing:confused2:?

Cook E Jarr is the definitive cheesy lounge performer. If you hurry, you can catch him @ Bill's on Sun 6PM to 8PM and Wed 3-6PM

Mark OToole has been playing Sat @ 2PM at the Hard Rock - lots of Rat Pack music.

Ambhar Lounge @ Ballys has Skye5 featuring Skye Miles playing Friday - Wednesday @ 9PM

If you enjoy jazz, make your way to Tuscany Suites and check out the Corro-VanSuch band - 8PM, dark on Mon

If you can find Zowie Bowie, they're pretty decently cheesy, not sure where they've moved to though
