    Casino Royale . . . .

1)What's your definition of dinner (sit down, stand up?)
2)What's your definition of low cost? (<15.00 incl. tax and tip?)

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

In Paris there is a small pizza place 2 slices and a drink for 9.99. Hubby and I share that sometimes which makes a real quick cheap meal (some would call that a snack lol)

Nosh inside Ballys. I ate there twice. Im not snooty with my food but wont eat garbage however I liked it a lot. Its most sandwiches, soup, and cold salads though so not sure if thats what you may want. My review per TripAdvisor...

For breakfast, I had the croissant with bacon and a mushroom/spinach eggs. For $6.50($9.00 with coffee combo) it was a delcious alternative to an overpriced Strip breakfast. The croissant was buttery and flaky. The bacon was perfectly cooked and eggs flavorful. All the flavors mixed perfectly well and wanted a second after I finished.

Went back for lunch another day and had the Prime Rib of Beef Au Jus which consisted of Prime rib, caramelized vinegar onions, garlic mayo, cheddar cheese, and au jus. Again, very flavorful and it hit the spot for a quick meal. $12 for a combo which included a drink and side. I chose the pasta salad, which again, was very very tasty. Im picky when it comes to pasta salad but very much enjoyed it. Had nice size chunks of cheese in it and the cream mix was different then what I expected. It was served in 1/2 pint container which I thought was generous for a side order. I had leftovers so I gave it to one of those homeless bridge guys. He was happy with it.

Just a block behind Bally's is Ellis Island....the BBQ place is outstanding. They also have a full steak dinner or 8.99 or 9.99....usually very good. Also have steak & eggs breakfast for under 10.00.

It doesn't sound like "dinner," but Diablo (off Monte Carlo) has EPIC steak nachos for $18. They feed at least 3 HUNGRY people as a full meal.

They were ranked Maxim Magazine's best nachos in the U.S., and many Vegas magazines continually give them props.

I personally usually find nachos to be kind of cruddy filler food, but we have to get these as a meal once a trip.

We like them for a late lunch and don't need anything until the next day....

Yes, I'm always pushing these, but it's because I like them that much...and it's a great value!

I am all about reasonably priced meals. Chains often fill the bill--PF Changs, Cheeseburger in Paradise, CA Pizza Kitchen to Panda Express.
Breakfast: PH has $3.99 breakfasts at Blondies & La Salsa. Cheeseburger in Paradise has same for $5.99 but includes coffee. (if you want coffee it is the better deal). La Salsa at CP has the same meal as the PH one for $5.99. Otherwise McDonalds by Harrahs or Subway in Casino Royale.
    Earl of Sandwich in PH.
Happy Hours are a great way to eat cheap.

El Dorado Cantina has happy hour 4-6 pm and Midnight-2 am, $3.50 street tacos, half price well drinks and domestic beers and a $7 food menu. It's on Industrial Highway next to Sapphires.

Nope, but cheap dinners are easy find on the strip. Sometimes you have to pick one or the other.

KKB not to disagree BUT these chains are just about EVERYWHERE. There are dining bargains options that are out there that are exclusive to LV( via the casinos or the "mom and pop" bars small restaurants etc).. Just have to do some research.

Oh my gosh Geogran, you are SOOOO close. Yes, I know I'm a bit rabid on Diablo's, but I know it's hard to find GOOD budget-friendly food in Vegas l, especially if you're a newer traveler. Soooo, frugal me, I like to share.

It helps we really like the staff there though too. Bad thing is, they actually thought we LIVED in Vegas. Oops....too many trips?

Have a GREAT trip and I am so excited for you...fast/slow....fast/slow....may many handpays come your way!
