I'm wanting to request a new host for Venetian/Palazzo but wondered if this offends your existing host and if it can be done without it hurting me as a player in some way?

I don't know anything about hosts at V/P but my hubby was assigned a host through CET a year ago, when she contacted him he told her that I made all our travel plans so she would probably talk to me more than him. I had not been assigned a host but one day last year I got a survey asking about my relationship with my host, X. I said I didn't know X so the survey asked me what host I knew and to complete the survey with that hosts info. I asked hubby's host how I could get changed to her and she said to write her a letter explaining it made more sense for us to have the same host and she'd give it to her boss, once that happened she had to then book 3 trips in a row for me before they can switch her to me so she should be my host too by the end of the year. Funny thing, I've gotten no less than four of those surveys about host X, he has never contacted me or even stopped to see me when I'm there....and I've been there 3 times this year.

That sucks. I just don't click with my new host ( too much of an age difference I guess) than I did my original one.

Seriously, if you are unhappy with your host, ask for a new one. Your host may or may not be unhappy with that, but do not concern yourself with that. It's your money to spend and clicking with your host is important. Do it.

Changing your host will not affect you as a player since your comps are based on your play. Definitely change in you're unhappy.

We were able to changer hosts by emailing the executive office at the casino/hotel with our request and it was sent to the appropriate people. Make sure to let them know what the problems are. This took about a week and worked great. Good luck and it is your vacation and your money and if you aren't happy they will want you to be.............Rick

Thanks all. My favorite bartender at the Fusion bar at Palazzo gave me two hosts names and their phone numbers and she said for me to call them and that are the best host at V/P. She said to tell them she gave me their cell numbers and I am trying to get up the nerve to call and speak to them about switching to one of them. ;) Im a wuss apparently. Lol
