I consistently get 2 free nights each month comped for the Gold Coast. This past April trip I actually played more at Mss and Fremont. Today I changed my default property on b connected online from the Gold Coast to Mss. Does anyone know if doing this will prompt offers from Mss? I would really like to stay here in October but cannot seem to get offers from Mss.

I think you may have to put in some play before you get offers IMHO. Don't think just because you switch home base your new base will send you offers, but of course it all depends on what kind of gambler you are. If you are a decent to big gambler then maybe you might end up on their radar enough for them to send you offers. That happened to me my last trip, I'm a small red chip craps player and I played at Sam's town and the Orleans. After I came back I started getting offers from the 2 properties. I did not change my home base (the Cal) so I think they were just feelers to get me to stay and visit their properties and gamble. I figure that once they see how low I gamble the offers will disappear.

My home has always been MSS, but others have posted you have to physically go to the Players Club to actually change "home". Changing it on-line seemed ineffective. Maybe things have now changed??

This is how I did it, via a call to a host at the property. I prefer the California downtown and The Orleans among their "Las Vegas properties". I tried changing via the players desk, and when I checked a year later I was told they try to limit changing via the players club rep to avoid poaching of players from one property to another without the player requesting this. I am not certain if that explanation is still accurate (or was ever accurate). The host office call worked for my second attempt, and now I am back to The Orleans (I switched to Gold Coast via a host at one point, started at The Orleans due to the fact they transferred all Stardust players to The Orleans), and established downtown at The California. My best corporate offers come from Sam's Town, due to a high single day coin in (dollar 9/6 JOB). You can get offers from all properties, but you may have a better shot booking directly with a host at the home property. Also, be sure to have the host look up your action across all properties (Downtown - The Cal, MSS and Fremont, for Las Vegas Properties ST, Orleans, GC and SC). Sometimes they only look up your action at their property, and do not consider your action at other "partner" properties,

Thanks for all the advice, I didn't think it would be as easy as changing a setting online. I didn't put a ton of play in those casinos but probably 4k in points at MSS and 8k at fremont (all bonus poker and JOB) over 2 days, but knowing that this is more than enough for 2 free nights at gold coast it might be worth making a call to a host on duty to see if it can be changed.

My home base has always been Fremont, but I changed it on-line to MSS several months ago and am finally getting offers from MSS. Coincidence - who knows?

I think this is still the case. I thought I had changed my home to MSS online, but when I stopped at Gold Coast in March the Players Club guy told me my home was Orleans. It's annoying because I've only been to Orleans once (maybe twice) briefly and I don't particularly care for it, but it where I got my original B-comnnected card. I have stayed at MSS several times and consider it my Boyd Home.

My Orleans offers stopped ages ago but I get offers from MSS (also good at Cal) every month. After my one visit to Gold Coast I got a nice offer for 2 nights in a suite, $150 FP and $150 food. Just not sure if I liked it enough to actually stay there.

I think My home bconnected casino is Freemont as that's where I got my card though I've only gambled at mss while in LV. But I only get mailers from Sams Town Shreveport. I switched my preferences online to Shreveport over Fremont but it's never changed my offers.
