After reading that the Gold Spike was closing, I was wondering what other changes we can see on our next trip?

We were there the beginning of October 2012 and will be again the first week of October 2013.

What has closed since last fall?

What has opened or anticipate opening by this fall?

    Changes?

Interested in all areas of Veges. Downtown, Strip, Outskirts?

    Thanks.

The new terminal area (E?) and the associated baggage claim, is now open at McCarran....and be warned - it is nowhere near the "old" areas. So, if you're meeting someone at the airport when you arrive, be sure to find out what terminals everyone is flying into...my buddy & I always used to meet at the baggage claim area... that's no longer one place! ...and, if your traveling companions are flying out on different airlines - be sure to have your cab driver make seperate drop-offs if anyone is flying out of 'E'.

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!
