I am seeking a nice romantic restaurant (not located in a Strip Hotel)
    - that is located on the south western side of town. Something from South of Tropicana and West of LVBlvd..

I have a friend of mine, that lives out in the SW side of town and I want to avoid a back to the blvd.

Right now, I am stuck with a restaurant in Town Square....Brio (but fear it will not be romantic enough)....
    Also:
-Any kind of food, Italian, Asian, American, French...will do.....just nice,
    -romantic.....
    -any $$$$

    thanks for your help.

Check out DW Bistro. It's not terribly romantic, but it's a neat spot with modern charm. Superb staff and delicious food.

    Alize at the Palms

    I love this restaurant. French.

I recommended Alize to a stranger on this board and she sent me this back

"I wanted to send a quick note of appreciation for the reservations last night. It was hands down the most incredible dining experience I've ever had! The staff were outstanding, we each got a different tasting menu and shared a wine paring. You were completely correct about the Dover Sole!!! It was on my tasting, and it was the favorite dish for both of us.

Again, my most sincere and heartfelt thanks for doing that for us. And seeing your suite was a blast! It was a pleasure meeting you!

    Thank you again,

    Name deleted

PS... We got an email of thanks from Stavros by the time we got back to our room!"

    Eat at Sundown if possible.

The food is fantastic, the service is fantastic, the wine list is top notch, the Cognac selection is fantastic, and the view is fantabulous.

The Palms is on the west side of the strip.

Michael's at South Point fits your criteria but it is in a (non-strip) hotel.
    LV Blvd and Silverado Ranch.

I haven't dined there myself but it's always been well reviewed. Dress nice and bring lots of dough.

A few good answers so far. Hope you find one.

You would get more answers if your TITLE was more descriptive.
