What is this? Isn't it just as easy to reserve online or do they have better deals if you call?

Some people are "old school" or don't like to do things online. (Like my parents)

They prefer to have someone walk them through the process.

I call them sometimes to modify an existing reservation or add a FP offer without troubling my host.

I've sometimes wondered if this is useful for rooms that have multiple options. For example, let's say the system says it's comping you a Nobu Penthouse at the 1BR level. But what about at the 2BR-5BR levels (i.e., connecting rooms, etc.). Are you still comped, or does a cost kick in once you cross a certain number of bedrooms? Would it help to have someone confirm that for you over the phone?

So basically, the deal I get online could not/would not be improved by calling? Seems kinda "big whoop" to me as a special for Diamond customers! What can they do that regular reservations lines can't?

Would be rather difficult to book a 5 br online. You would need to talk to somebody.

Sometimes, the online reservation offers only have specific rooms but whenever I call with the offer code, I've been able to pick which room/tower/beds/etc.
