anyone done a CET slot tourney in vegas before?? I am asking since i am going to be there during 2 tourneys both on march 17 and 18 and 19. one at paris one at flamingo. I am going to be in town but dont need their free nights (staying at palms place or bellagio) and dont want to go through the hassle of checking in and checking out just to enter the tourney. Anyone have experience with a CET slot tourney that can offer advice thanks

how many sessions is there usually each day?? i think these run multiple days and points from each day tally together for those 2 in march it looks like.

also does one need to be present at end of tourney to win the free play or regular prize?

BTW you playing at the aria one on valentines weekend? I am headed to that one

no to aria as they want me to stay and play i dont need a room.

cet - the rio was 2 sesions in one day and one sesion on the last day. combined total.

u have 24 hours to claim your prize

they also put up avarages that you need to be in to get some off the prize after the first day , people dont come back to the last session if they think they dont have chance.

ps . they do not all run like this.

    i won 50$ free slot

    any other questions.

ps i hate slot tourneys no skill just my hand hurts banging on that dam machine

also how are you doing the tourney if your not taking the room are the waving the room and letting you enter any way

Generally you'll need to accept the room offer to enter the tournament.

My girlfriend and I each got an entry into it but no room comp. This is a strange one for us as the room is usually comped. The way I read the offer it didn't sound as though you had to stay at any of the three choices we got and even weirder is that looking at the rate calender we can book for way less than the offer at those choices.

Good thing is we do have comp rooms at Rio during that time and a very nice comp at TI also.

I think I may call and get the low down as it would be a birthday trip for her.:drunk:

If I were staying/playing at Palms, I would not bother.

Why? You have to be there a certain time (usually). There are so many people that enter, the chances of being in the money are low. And, you usually have to go there in person to see if you won. Just not worth it.

If you are close by, and have an open schedule, then why not?

As said, the format will vary from one session, to even 3 sometimes. Top scores win freeplay.

As to taking the room. You can just check in, and then be done with it. Put a Do Not Disturb sign on door and do not worry about checking out.

if your offer is tied to a room ofer then you have to take a room if its not then you dont have to. they usualy wont you there for 3 days.

ps i dont belive you can do overlaping tournaments due to cet 72 checkout checkin rule.

you do not have to be there to win you have 24 hours and its freeplay .atleast thats what mine was
