I know that the rates change almost daily. I made reservations quite a while ago when I was still platinum. I have since become Diamond. Now, looking at reservations the resort fee is removed. The room prices are a bit higher than before. Can I keep my earlier rate and will they remove the resort fee once I check in or do I need to rebook? And, do you basically just constantly check rates and grab one that is really good?

    Will give them a try!

No need to rebook, if you are diamond when you check in at front desk they won't charge resort fee.

I also notice that nowhere is the room price listed on your email confirmation. Do they ever try and pull a fast one on you- realizing that once you're there you're stuck? I got three nights comped at Caesar's AC with an ocean view room- I notice now those same rooms are listed as $350 a night. Am I safe in assuming that my resort fees will be removed now that I am Diamond and those rooms will still be comped when I arrive in AC?

If you can't get a free room, I would think you can keep your reservation, and they would take the resort fee off when you check-in. I would hope they wouldn't tell you that it's a different rate then.

When I get my e-mail confirmations, the word "comp" is next to each day that's comped.
