I have close to 1000 bucks in RC's. Could I use those for room upgrades if they won't give me a complimentary upgrade to the suite I want? I know a lot of times they will say for so much a night they can upgrade the room just didn't know if they would use Reward Credits for that.

Yes. Call down to checkout and tell them to pay with points, or have the account reviewed.

Sure. Any upgrade you buy at the front desk just gets added to your hotel bill... and you can use RCs to pay off your hotel bill.

    1000 RC is only 10 bucks. It's a penny a point.

A thousand points gets you $10.00 in food, or drink, or room, or shopping in some shops.

    OP said...

close to $1K in comps, not 1K RCs.
Where are you staying? Caesars typically offers upgrades--we have had complimentary ones and those for $30/nt (DEAL from Forum to Palace Tower)
Ballys nearly always upgrades to North Tower w/o asking. PH nearly always upgrades us to a fountain view room w/o asking.
Don't notice much of a difference in Harrahs rooms (just ask to NOT be facing Carnival Court!)
    Paris is very stingy.

My RC balance is 98,954. So close to $1000 bucks right? Staying at Planet Hollywood and was really wanting to get a 2 bedroom panorama suite. Host says to ask upon arrival. I have gotten one comped twice then last trip they said they were out of them when I arrived. Got 4 newbies going out with me and wanting to splash it up a little bit and show them the life and one of the PH suites would blow their KY minds!
