I'm just checking my rate calendar for the week before Christmas and I'm getting cheaper rooms at both Flamingo and Bally's that what's being offered for IP. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not looking for a deal on IP but I always figured it would always be the cheapest. In fact the cheapest rates offered are at Flamingo. Is this because most of my play has been there?

If you are logged in I would say yes. Despite the fact your play crosses all props, you will get preferred offers & best rates at the hotels you play the most at. When I played several hours or a couple of times at Caesars on trips I would receive 5 nights in 3 lowest level rooms. However drop playing there & I can't get anything free except under offers. Skipped a lot of Paris time one trip & all of a sudden I had prices on my room night & left (while still free at Harrahs, Flamingo, etc). Brought play back up there a bit more & now am free again there with some exceptions.

Tried to check my rate calendar for Dec, but everything everywhere is comp; except for Nobu.

IP did change to The Quad, so maybe they did raise their rates to coincide with the name change. But it's still the same casino, only smaller right now.

Nobu does not open until February.

The CET calendar is based on supply/demand every day and IP might not necessarily be the cheapest-but the place is nowhere close to charging a premium based on a name change. Availability of room comps at Caesars Palace is not based on your play there--it is based on whether your ADT within the system is high enough to warrant a room comp there.

Yes, they take in to account where you play.

Like for my wife and I: we rarely ever play at Bally's and so when I look at the rate calendar I'll see free rooms at Harrah's, IP, Flamingo, Paris and Planet Hollywood... but not for Bally's.

I'm staying at IP on NOV. 4th -9th. I haven't been to Vegas in a year and a half and don't currently have any points on my card, so i settled for IP for $20 a night. I never gamble at IP and won't in November. But having my CET card for many years i always got free nights/low rates for Bally's, Paris, PH. Those 3 casinos are where i do the bulk of my gambling. When i return to Vegas in the Spring, i'm hoping that those 3 casinos will offer me similar deals because that's where i usually stay. If i'm not mistaken, my CET card is for 6 months, so April will be fine. It used to be 12 months.

We are looking at a possible trip for late December. This past Monday Ballys was showing 5 comped days with Friday and Sat. at $12 each (should of booked to be safe). Checked Yesterday morning same dates and now I am getting Flamingo 2 comped nights with 5 nights at $8 each and Ballys at various rates no comps. We like Ballys much more than the other properties but to see rates fluctuate like they did has me scratching my head.
Now we need SW to get their rates down to some reasonable price.

    Definitely a combination

Of play at a specific property & demand...but it is wacky.
I have learned if I find a good rate BOOK IT if I even MIGHT go. We were very surprised to find Caesars comped for our trip a few years back--luckily JUMPED.
Maybe have to play more PH or CP this trip when doing VP...see if they will help a girl aout!

That's exactly what I just did, booked for the week before Christmas. I think the chances of me actually going are slim at this point but at least I've locked in a room at a great rate with no penalty to cancel.
