I can't understand. I have several offers on my TR page. They say something like this.

    BALLY'S LAS VEGAS

    Offer Code: xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Valid 11/01/2015 - 12/29/2016

Go online or call your host for best available rates. Must Book by 12/20/16.

I go online put in the code and tried all kinds of dates each time I just get this msg:
    Attention
    Your offer was not applied.
The offer code you entered could not be applied to your search criteria.
Continue to book our best available price without applying your offer?

    or this:
xxxxxxxxxxxx is not applicable for the selected Check In and Check Out Date.
Please adjust your stay dates, or select Rate Calendar to view availability.

How the heck are you to know when or when you can't use it and what the offer even is for sure?

First, unless the offer includes a bunch of free play or a tournament invite, you are probably as well off just looking at the rate calendar with your TR # in.

But if you want more details, log into TR, go to "My Offers", view all offers, click on the "Detail" button beside the relevant offer. There should be a short blurb describing it (these often suck).

For instance, I mostly have offers titled "Stay in Vegas". Here is what the blurb looks like:

The offer page will also let you pick dates, have a 'book this offer' button, and a "Go to Offer Calendar" link.

Click the calendar link. The calendar may show different things. It may show "offer available". It may show a rate, or it may show "Sold Out". If it says "Offer Available" for all your dates, you can probably click the start and end one, hit "get trip price", and then book.

If it does not, the offer is not available then. Either way, at some point I recommend delete the "offer code" on the left, and seeing what rates the calendar offers you on its own.

If it continues to not let you book and it looks by the calendar like it should, I'd recommend calling reservations.

The same thing happened to me. I couldn't get any of my offers to work either. Then I got lucky. For some reason there was a problem with their site and I couldn't book online. So I called to book. When the rep asked me about offers, I asked if she could get any of them to work.
She could and I ended up saving a couple of hundred dollars because I couldn't book online.
Try calling and getting them to do the work.

I usually get better offers, better rooms if I go calendar rate with my husbands card added. I am diamond, he is gold. I like to stay at Caesars in the Augustus or Octavius towers during the weekends. By my offers, I cant get those rooms. But by the calendar I can.

A couple of things about that type of offer:

Look in your old emails and see if you have an email that corresponds with it. If it only recently showed up in your TR account, you may not have received the email yet. The reason I recommend that is because the email will tell you what the throw-ins are (freeplay and resort credit). But those throw ins will show up as separate lines on the offers page.

It may be just a temporary glitch, or it could be that one of the days of your stay is blacked out to you, especially (possibly) the first night of your stay, this can happen more frequently with a Friday or Saturday arrival.

If you can't book online, call the hotel.

Yes all of my offers say "Stay in Vegas"
I have three or more of them on each hotel but when you look at details they just say Go online or call your host for best available rates.

Probably the most repeated advice for CET is to login, and select dates for rooms. Do NOT use comp offers to get rooms. Getting other stuff is another story.

You are talking about the email.

    Try the following.

    1. Go to http://www.totalrewards.com
    2. Click "Sign In"
    3. Enter your TR # and password.
    4. You should be brought to a page called "MY TR". On the left hand side there is a menu. Click "MY OFFERS".
    5. There should be a list of offers by casino. Find the offer under the casino you want and click details.

You should see something like this:
    Capture.jpg

You can then click the link to go to offer calendar. Or you can just call.

This is a very generic offer not very different from just using the rate calendar though.

Skip the list of offers and just pick dates you want. Look at the monthly rate calendar.

I'll not use the offers. I just notice I don't have any free nights at all which I thought was a little odd when I look at calendar.

Here is what I see when I look at the offer

Nevyn: It is impressive how well you know this subject and how well you are leading Shaggyboiler through it.
