    Trips to Las Vegas:
It has nothing to do with Resort Fees because for us we get so much more by paying a resort fee. This post is simply about offers.

We have been with MGM/MLife for years.
Each trip gambling more and more getting less and less.
MGM stopped sending free room offers so we opted to stay at NYNY where they were giving us 3 free night offers with $100 Free Play.
At the end of the trip we still felt a bit shorted with what little food charges they would remove from the bill. Also the free nights were in the basic rooms.

Although we played some at CET properties it was minimal and decided to actually stay and play at PH for a short 3 nights. Usually we go for a 4 night stay.

The host I contacted at PH put us in a really nice room and said he would even upgrade our room next trip which is nice considering MLife says we only qualify for their base room. From just the 3 nights I am now getting some nice offers in the mail. One offer is a 4 free night offer which is outstanding as we usually only get 3 from MLife and have to work off the last night. Also they are offering $300 in casino play. MLife sometimes gives me $100.

We really love NYNY with the places to eat and the variety of machines. In fact my wife still wants to stick with NYNY, but for me its hard to stay with them when I feel they are giving me less and less.

It sounds weird but sometimes when reflecting back on a trip I review two aspects.
1 - gambling budget and how well or poorly I did and if it needs to change
2 - did I feel that the casino treated me as well as I treated it.

When staying at NYNY we could basically stay inside the entire time as they have a good variety of places to eat and a really nice variety of table games and slots.

When at PH we found ourselves going to other CET places to eat and gamble but still did a lot at PH at night.

Personally I don't mind moving around and getting a variety of options. Plus PH is in a pretty good location. But my wife likes how NYNY is self contained for us.

Right now its a struggle deciding to stick with the one place that has it all but give back less or go with the place that gives back a lot but offers a little in variety of games.
