What Total Rewards hotel/casino(s) would best compare in quality to the Mirage? I am accustom to staying at the Mirage but now have reservations at Paris. Will I be disappointed?

Yeah, probably Paris. The lower tier ones don't match up. PH is just geared to a different crowd. The premium rooms at CP would also be something to consider.

I loved staying at the Paris hotel

I had a room on the 23rd floor. It had a refrigerator, a safe, a coffee maker with all the fixins, desk, table with chairs, flat screen t.v., bath tub, glass enclosed shower, two queen beds, two lounge chairs, and a very spacious room.

What I liked best was the room was very quiet. Plus, I loved the view of the mountains. I wanted a view of the mountains facing the airport.
I could have gotten a room with a view of the strip if I paid some extra money.

I stayed at the Mirage many years ago and I didn't like my hotel room at all.
It was a small room and not impressive at all. I totally dislike their lobby area because it is always filled with tons of people.

Plus, I was insulted when I asked for the bath robes and they were delivered
by a delivery man who told me not to steal them.lol. He flat out told me not to steal them. I told him off verbally. I didn't complain about him because I don't believe in complaining about any of the staff workers. He could have been having a bad day and I never had to see him again.

We tried to get into their nightclub but the door-men wouldn't let us. They told us to stand in a long line. But we would see the pretty young gals go in without having to stand in line. We complained to deaf ears. We told them we were staying at the Mirage but it didn't matter.

The Paris hotel has a very nice Bell Captain that took my luggage right away
and it was delivered to my room right away.

I also love the Paris walk-way with lots of small restaurants and shops.
I like the location of the hotel too. The bus stop is located right in front of the hotel. I love taking the local bus everywhere.
There are also plenty of taxi cabs if you need one. Lucy

Lucy, I am glad you enjoyed your trip to the Paris. I responded to one of your posts, and I suggested the Paris. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, and my room. I had a Red Room, it kinda sounded like yours with the mountain view. I know you don't like to gamble, and gambling is never good here, worst casino I have been in, even V/P, and Aria. I like staying their because of is location for one thing.

I don't think Paris compares to Mirage. Of course, I don't think CET compares to MGM across the board. IMO, a second tier MGM property (which is where Mirage falls) only compares to the top level CET properties (Caesars Palace).

I think paris is alright, just doesn't compare to Mirage. I would place it on the same level and vibe as Monte Carlo

INasmuch as there is a comparison to be made, i think Mirage would fall in between CP and Paris (the flagship and second place CET properties, at least technically).

There are definitely a ton of similarities. Both have connected, slightly downgraded sister properties (though TI has since been sold and is no longer the same ownership) Paris is pretty clearly the "one off flagship" CET property. Up until the construction of the CC properties, mirage held the same status in the MGM pantheon.

Note though that in a choice between the two, i think mirage is a no brainer.

I won't disagree with that. I think MGM ranks Mirage as a second tier property (although near the bottom of their second tier) and CET does the same with Paris (although their room rates suggests CET ranks PHo higher up the food chain than Paris). I'm just of the opinion that a top CET property (Caesars) is the equivalent of a second tier MGM property. To me, the top MGM properties are not competing with the top CET properties. They are competing with other companies (Wynn, Cosmo, V/P)

Pairs or PH should be fine! Like everyone posted above I'd go with Paris, because PH has to many annoying issues.

Though.. the rooms at Paris are pretty old.. maybe look into a Red Room? Also I think as a general rule, the MGM properties are just better taken care of... Everything just seems to be a little neater and cleaner at MGM properties I've noticed.
