My thread asking for info on CET Tunica host got me thinking: I think I recall reading a post on here a year or two ago that said CET hosts are companywide, regardless of which property you stay at (as opposed to MGM, where you get a different host at each property). Does anyone know if that is correct? Just curious.

    Based upon my experience -

I have one host for all the Vegas properties. For Tunica, NOLA, and Cherokee I have a property specific host.

That being said, each of these hosts has the ability to book me at other properties. But, I have only done this for 7* trips.

Also, it seems to require the property specific host to resolve any trip or offer issues.

    Hope this helps!

Is this true for the properties in vegas or do you only mean the regional casinos around the country?

CET encourages you to use your host from your home property to book everything. Your home property is usually where you play the most. That said, I've found calling your assigned host for a specific property usually results in better amenities. For instance my host at my home property in AC booked my Vegas trip, but put me in the Forum Tower. I called my Caesars host in Vegas and he assured me a south view in Augustus.

Also, while I have a relationship with my home property host, I've never met any host at other regions despite being Level II Seven Stars. That's fine by me.

Your local host can book anywhere. However, they can be limited in what they can do for you in other locales so it's still worth developing a relationship with a host in other places. That really is important outside of Vegas because they can be quicker to get you travel rebates or food comps.

There are national hosts as well. It seems like they can do more than your average local based casino host. The one based here in the Chicago metro area plans lots of trips and parties for high rollers and it seems like they are developing a crew of national hosts based out of Vegas.

My main host in Tunica is based at Harrahs and her title is executive casino host and all her emails say that she can book anywhere.

My Tunica host says she an book anywhere. But, based on a few trips, she has to send an email to a host/person at that hotel and they will get back to them when they get around to it.

If you can get a contact at the "new/remote" hotel/casino, then book directly with them.
