Recently hit Diamond Aspirations, Level 3

Just booked a flight, no problem. Gave them my preferred flights and they booked. I paid the balance with credit card.

    The online descriptions says:
"VIP round-trip airport transportation within 50 miles"

I had thought I would get transfer from my home to airport. According to folks I talked with, it is only at the casino end, Vegas in this case. Anyone else do this?

I've asked the same question in the past on my Seven Stars annual trip and was told the same.

Saw a post from another player who showed up in Vegas looking for his $750 airfare reimbursement. They should make it clear that the travel must be booked through CET's Passport Travel.

Yes, according to one of my CET hosts, the offer only covers the limos that are based at the casino.

As an aside, we're going to Lake Tahoe for 4th of July and they are sending their limo to pick us up at Reno airport, which is technically 55 miles away.

The only time that you may be picked up at your residence by a limo is if you are a very, very big player. Heck, they will even fly you in a private jet or charter flight. Also, they may even pick you up by limo and drive 8-10 hours from your residence to their casino if are afraid to fly, but your play justifies it.

However, for all of us average players, the airport limo pick up refers to your being picked up from the airport to one of their properties, etc. I guess we could argue that they could be more clear in their literature, but I would hope that we would understand the business sense behind it. For them to send a limo to your residence, it would cost the casinos to contract out this service. With the new bonus structures, there will be A LOT of diamond aspiration players as well as 7 stars. Think of the cost.

As for the within 50 mile thing, it is just to limit their liability cost. However, it happens all the time that they pick up much further than that. Typically, to the nearest major airport. For example, I have been picked up from Philadelphia Airport (PHL) and driven for over one hour to get to Caesars in AC. Similarly, there is no major airport in Lake Tahoe, so the nearest is Reno. Therefore, they will transport you to and from the airport to their casino, even though it's over 50 miles.

I have been seven stars since it's inception and I have never once been picked up by limo at my residence to the airport for departure to their casinos. Now, if I were a much bigger player, it may be possible, but I, like the rest of the folks here, are just average players, so limo pick up from our residence to airport would not be offered to us.

I do understand the business sense. It is not that uncommon for them to send a limo to the airport for players at this level. So, I read it way differently and was all excited to avoid the whole airport parking pain in the a$$.

I guess I should not expect clarity. After all, these are same "xxx" that put in that I can get 4 free nights. Duh! Ya think?

I am okay with it and will suffer through (LOL).

After many many years in sales and customer dealings, we always tried to under promise and over perform. Sadly, the marketing folks at CET sometimes forget that and work hard to put lipstick on a pig.

Any further experience with booking the diamond aspirations level 3 trip? Who did you book through, how easy/difficult was it, did you get any special treatment or upgrades at the hotel?

It appears that the hotel where you are staying somewhat "owns" the booking. I have one of those "back office hosts" in Vegas that sets up stuff whenever we go out there. I never ask for much extra as our Vegas spending is well below what we spend in other CET casinos. They did get us Augustus but not a suite. When we do Paris, we usually can get a suite.

Did the limo coming in, but since we then went to Mirage, did not do CET limo back to airport.

No other extras. I think we got a box of nuts on the room.

    OK thanks.

I have a NCM host and he said I can pick my flights and he can arrange the booking.

The ADT requirement for suites at CP is pretty high, I have heard $2000 and up. Much easier to get suites at other CET properties nationwide, but I guess there are no special upgrades for this trip

My husband has reached this level. What does CET's Passport Travel mean? Never heard of this. We aren't ready to go right now. I do hope this covers our trip which should be before this level expires on march 31st.

Passport Travel is CET's travel agency. You use them when you book trips being covered by Total Rewards in some fashion.
